The Buyer Problem
Hydrocarbon contamination in an oxygen system creates a fire and explosion risk. Particulate and residue in high-purity gas systems cause process excursions and equipment damage. Standard industrial cleaning does not meet these requirements.

ASTM G93/G93M and CGA G-4.1 describe cleaning methods and verification approaches. The applicable revision and the specific requirements are defined by the customer specification, not by Cleansol. We execute to what the documents call for.
Cleansol Scope of Work
The applicable standard, the customer specification and the system design are reviewed before work begins. The cleaning method, verification approach and preservation requirements are confirmed.
Visible contamination and hydrocarbon residue are removed using approved solvents or aqueous cleaning agents, depending on the specification and the system configuration.
The final cleaning method is executed per the approved procedure and the applicable standard. Field and shop scopes use methods appropriate to the system configuration and the accessible surfaces.
Verification testing per the specification is performed and recorded. Test methods and acceptance criteria follow the referenced standard and the project documents.
Where the scope includes preservation and packaging, systems or components are sealed and tagged per the approved procedure. Packaging materials are confirmed compatible with the service.
Field and Shop Scope Boundaries
Shop cleaning is practical for components and subassemblies before installation. Field cleaning addresses installed piping systems where access and the system configuration permit. The scope boundary is established during the pre-mobilization review.
Scope Alignment
Procedure development and approval, cleaning execution, verification testing in scope, preservation and packaging if included, and documentation.
Applicable standard identification, customer specification, acceptance criteria, access to systems or components and approval of the proposed procedure.
Specification requirements, applicable standard designation, any special material or compatibility requirements, and resolution of questions raised in the scope review.
Component or system availability for cleaning, temporary isolation, and re-installation of cleaned components at the agreed schedule milestones.
